About Us

Community Medical Services is a CARF–accredited substance use disorder treatment program providing services in the form of outpatient medication-assisted treatment and private one–on–one and group counseling, Intensive Out-Patient therapy (IOP) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) to those seeking help with their substance use disorders. We have a total of 12 clinic throughtout the United States. We have four Arizona locations which cater to Phoenix, Glendale, Mesa, Scottsdale, and Tempe; a clinic in East Tucson and a clinic in Northwest Tucson, both of which cater to the surrounding areas including Sierra Vista and Casa Grande; four clinics in Montana located in Missoula, Kalispell, Belgrade and Billings, which cater to patients in Bozeman and Helena; a clinic in Wasilla, Alaska catering to the Mat-Su Valley and Anchorage, and two clinics in North Dakota, one located in Minot, catering to patients in Williston and Bismarck and a clinic in Fargo, catering to patients from Fargo/Moorhead, West Fargo, Grand Forks, and Minnesota. Research has demonstrated that outpatient medication-assisted therapy along with counseling is the gold standard of treatment for individuals who are physically dependent on opioids. Medical care is provided by certified substance use disorder treatment specialists who will prescribe the proper medication based on an evaluation of your individual needs. Medications often used consist of Methadone, Suboxone, Buprenorphine and Vivitrol to treat pain pill, heroin, and other opiate use disorders with the ultimate goal being to detox individuals off all forms of medication when possible. Counseling is recommended to anyone who is dependent on drugs or alcohol. Working with a counselor can help you understand your dependency and how to cope with it. Counseling focuses on what is called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as a technique called Motivational Interviewing. Both of these techniques can help in changing the way individuals process information leading to non–drug use outcomes. Group counseling is also a beneficial means of dealing with like issues and can be arranged if requested.
